Never do less

"When your current strategy isn’t working, doing the same thing, but just a little less of it, doesn’t make a lot of sense." Seth Godin

If your business is not going right you should not do less just because it brings less costs. If it brings less costs, it will probably bring less customer satisfaction, less income and less many other things.

To reanimate your business, you should invest in areas that can bring a fresh image to your company, provoke media buzz and which will lead you to the generation of both profit and client satisfaction.

Doing less to prevent costs will, in many cases, postpone the death of your company for some months.

This looks no big deal but please check Trent's opinion about what's going on with GAP:

Back to Business

After almost 4 months laid on the couch, i'm back with a new post. And I promess that from now on I will be much more active.

In the last week I have been on a conference where I had to do a small presentation. After my talk I realized that my slides were not very attractive. In fact, and call me whatever you want, i think that all the slides from all the presentations were not very attractive.
After this annoying situation I tried to find out some cool tips to do presentations. That's when I came across Seth Godin's little ebook: Really Bad Powerpoint and how to avoid it (http://www.sethgodin.com/freeprize/reallybad-1.pdf). It's worth reading it...really. It gives you some good ideas to emotianally conquer your audience and to fluidly guide your presentation.
Also from Seth Godin, you can check this crazy approach to presentations: http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2006/03/the_best_presen.html.
It's simply a presentation with no presentation. :)
